If you’re passionate about basketball and want to compete in international tournaments while joining a fun, competitive team, this is your chance! Team UNITED: Born from the Erasmus+ Project “PLAYFUL AGEING”

Team UNITED, a women’s veteran basketball team, emerged from the Erasmus+ project PLAYFUL AGEING, which aimed to promote physical activity and social engagement for older adults. A key outcome of the project was the creation of a Basketball Networking Platform, designed to connect grassroots basketball clubs and players internationally, providing information on youth and veterans’ tournaments. Through this initiative, women passionate about basketball who struggled to form complete teams found a sense of community, leading to the formation of UNITED, now competing in international tournaments, including those in Belgrade and Sarajevo.
